We can help! Albury Wodonga RV World are proud to sell Australia wide, and want to make the purchase of your new motorhome or new caravan easy and smooth from the beginning to the end. If you are arriving by air or train, we can arrange pick up from either the Albury airport, or Albury and Wodonga train stations.
Where will I stay when I take delivery of my new RV?
Albury Wodonga RV World can arrange accommodation for you and your new motorhome or new caravan for the 1st night after you have taken delivery.
Our comprehensive delivery handover procedure ensures you leave our dealership with peace of mind knowing you can operate everything in your new motorhome or new caravan. Once on the road, though, if you forget how to operate something, rest assured we are only a phone call away.
Do I need an endorsed license?
All our Motorhomes require a current manual and automatic car drivers license. Each driver that wishes to drive must present a license. There is no charge for any additional drivers that wish to be added to the contract.
How old are the rental vehicles?
All of Albury Wodonga RV World’s rental fleet are new current model vehicles general around 2yrs of age and have 24hr road side assistance, so you can travel with peace of mind.
Are the Motorhomes or Caravans Insured?
Albury Wodonga RV World ensure all Motorhomes and Caravans have comprehensive insurance, if an accident was to occur there is a $5500 excess amount payable by the customer. On Motorhomes this excess amount can be reduced to just $1500 by paying a small additional charge of $25 per day. Caravans have a standard excess of $3,300.
Am I covered by insurance?
All our fleet Caravans are insured for damage and third party property damage with an excess of $3,300. All of our fleet Motorhomes & Campervans are insured for damage and third party property damage with an excess of $5,500, this can be reduced to $1,500 for a fee of $25.00 per day. We recommend that customers wishing to insure personal belongings consider taking our personal travel insurance. For more information on insurance please see our Terms & Conditions.
All Albury Wodonga RV World vehicles are rented with a full tank of fuel. All of our motorhomes are Turbo Intercooled Diesel with fuel consumption from 11 to 15 litres per 100kms. If you have a trip planned and you know the vehicle you would like to hire, please ask our friendly staff and they will be more than happy to give you an estimate for a fuel budget to allow for.
What is supplied with the vehicle?
All Albury Wodonga RV World rentals come with all your essentials. Linen can be supplied for a fee of $110.
All Motorhomes & Caravans come with the following items:
- Cooking equipment
- Eating utensils
- Rev cycle air conditioning*
- TV, CD and DVD*
- Outside table and chairs
- All cleaning equipment and liquids
- All maps and motorhome & caravan park guides (upon request)
We have available to hire generators, GPS, 15amp to 10amp adapters.
*Excludes some caravans & motorhomes.
What do I need for towing?
When renting an Albury Wodonga RV World caravan you will require electric brakes. If your vehicle does not have this fitted, we will fit a portable electric brake unit in your vehicle at no cost when picking up the caravan. We will also fit extended mirrors to your vehicle if necessary. Make sure you let our staff know upon booking what type of trailer plug is on your tow vehicle, this way we can organise adapters if required.
All our RV’s have a dual battery system. This way no matter how long you run the rear battery or if you flatten the rear battery, you will always have plenty of power in your front battery to start the vehicle. We estimate that the rear battery (appliances) will last around 10 – 11 hrs and you can recharge your battery when your driving or when you’re plugged into 240 volt (at a caravan park). When you are plugged into 240 volt, the vehicle will automatically run all appliances off 240 volt and not your batteries.

As we at Albury Wodonga RV World know too well how much fun it is travelling and exploring this great country, that once on the road you don’t want your holiday to end; why not keep travelling? Call our staff and they will extend your rental contract for as long as you like.*

What is a bond?
A bond is a security deposit a hirer pays at the start of their rental. The bond is refunded back to the hirer within 48hours of the motorhome or caravan being returned providing that there are no outstanding payments and the motorhome or caravan has been returned in a respectable condition with no damage. Bond must be paid via your Visa or MasterCard. The bond required for Caravans is $1,000 and the bond required for Motorhomes is $1,500.
Can I take my pet?
Albury Wodonga RV World do allow for the carriage of pets of any animal in their recreational vehicles, but conditions do apply.
What happens if I have to cancel my booking?
If you wish to cancel your booking you will be charged a cancellation fee of $500 with at least 1 week notice. We understand that unexpected situations can occur and we try our best to be accommodating, so alternatively we can offer to hold your rental funds and allocate them to a future booking. There is no expiry date and you can re-book at any time subject to availability and block out dates.
